Banbury maintained their push to finish as Serious Cricket Home Counties Premier League Division 1 runners-up with a comfortable seven-wicket victory at Harpenden on Saturday.
A good bowling display saw Harpenden dismissed for 153 after 55 overs.
Ashley Blanchard (4-32) and Luke Ryan (3-40) were the pick of the attack.
All Banbury’s batsmen got starts, Craig Haupt leading the way with 59, before they eased past their target in the 40th over.
Banbury travel to third-placed Tring next week in the final game of the season, holding a 14-point lead over their rivals in the battle for second.
