Charlie Green stormed to his second BB&O Golf Partnership Junior success of the season.

The Hadden Hill member won the boys’ 14 and over event at Mentmore with 40 points.

The victory was his second in the six-event competition, following a win at his home course.

The successes have earned him a slot at the Champion of Champions competition at Studley Wood in October.

Sophie Herring racked up 47 points to win the girls’ 13 and under competition, three points ahead of Studley Wood teammate Danielle Benger.

Both will be at the Champion of Champions event.

Waterstock’s Sam Slade won the boys’ 9-hole competition for those with no official handicap with a score of 31 points.

Eddie Pepperell shot his lowest ever round on the European Challenge Tour to finish the Rolex Trophy in style on Sunday.

The 21-year-old signed an unblemished card for a nine-under 63 at Geneva Golf Club in Switzerland.

It saw the Abingdon golfer climb 12 places up the leaderboard to claim a share of 23rd place.

Pepperell improved with every round after opening with a two-over-par 74.

Scores of 71 and 68 followed, before Sunday’s outstanding performance, which was the joint low score of the day.

The prize money lifted him to 29th on the tour’s money list, within sight of the top 20, which earn a place on the European Tour next season.
