James Dobson scored a four-timer as Witney Town thrashed Holyport 5-1 in the Hellenic League Premier Division on Saturday.

He opened his account after 14 minutes before doubling his tally three minutes later.

Dobson made it 3-0 just after half-time before Nick Thorne bagged No 4 on 70 minutes.

Four minutes from time, Dobson completed his haul with Witney’s fifth. Jamie West (penalty) replied for Holyport.

Kidlington were hammered 7-2 at Newbury, for whom former Didcot striker Ray Spence scored a hat-trick.

Kalief Madden (2), Barry Elmore and Ben McCready completed Newbury’s tally, with Zac McEachran and Jack Johnson the scorers for Kidlington.

Oxford City Nomads and Cheltenham Saracens fought out a goalless draw at Court Place Farm.

Old Woodstock Town eased to a 2-0 home win against ten-man Fairford Town in Division 1 West.

Dan Green fired Woodstock ahead on 53 minutes.

Victory was sealed on 58 minutes when Murray Nicholls broke from midfield to make it 2-0.

Late on, Fairford’s Joey Blackford was sent off for a second yellow card after bringing down Rob Johnson.

Carterton claimed local bragging rights as they beat near neighbours Clanfield 3-1 at home.

Chris Mills, Kris Redford and Michael Duerden were on target for the hosts, with Chris Blakely replying for the visitors.

Letcombe drew 2-2 with Hook Norton.

Tom Stone scored both Letcombe goals, with Richard Oakey and Jason Tillcock on target for Hook Norton.

North Leigh Res lost 4-0 at Tytherington Rocks, Justin Bishop (2) and Joe White (2) doing the damage.

In Division 1 East, a double from Ben Milner helped Easington Sports to a 4-0 victory against Chinnor.

Andrew Parsons and Chris Kirby completed their tally.

Headington Amateurs and Woodley Town drew 1-1, with Craig Dean scoring for the home side and Darrel Fairbrother equalising for Woodley. Milton United will have to do it all again as their clash at Chalfont Wasps was abandoned after 80 minutes due to a waterlogged pitch. Milton were 1-0 down at the time.
