Dolphin A took over at the top of the Premier Section of the Oxford & District League after whitewashing Section 1 side Gladiators B 5-0.
Jimmy Robson (13,550), Mick Shephard (8,400), Paul Caistor (18,830), Dave Barnes (9,630) and Jan Dybiec (8,930) all won well for Dolphin.
Nelson A are one point behind after a 3-2 win at Gladiators A.
Keith Sheard (16,150, break 10,500) and Ray Sturgess (18,210, break 12,800) won the first two games for the Nelson.
Gladiators' Bob Pincombe then pipped Pauline Withey 7,260-7,130 to pull one back.
Pete Witney (8,640) made it 2-2, before Steven Sheard played the table out with with an excellent break of 18,810 in the decider.
Premier side Didcot Conservative Club won 3-2 at home to Section 1 outfit Masons B.
Stuart Florey (8,940), Jenny Abbott (5,910) and Mark Trafford (11,380) shone for the home side, with Chris Webb 13,960 and his father Andy (5,350) replying.
Premier team Corner House won 4-1 at Section 1 side Democrats B.
Alan Oliver (9,280, break 9,190) starred for the victors.
In an all-Section 1 clash, Democrats A posted a 4-1 win at the Masons A.
Billy Hill (10,550), Terry Green (5,810), Brian French (3,760) and Richard Garrett (7,950) starred for the Democrats, with Brian Rose (13,610, break 10,500) preventing a whitewash.
