Oxford Ladies captain Anne Clarke holed out from ten feet to secure the Oxfordshire Ladies County Golf Association's Bamberger Trophy at Studley Wood.
Clarke, a 17 handicapper, defeated The Wychwood's Pat Court (22) by one hole in the final of the season-long matchplay competition.
Despite torrential rain and flooding in the area, the course stood up to the test and hosted an exciting final.
Clarke went two up after 16 holes, but Court hit back at the 17th and was closer to the pin at the last.
Just when a play-off seemed likely, Clarke sunk her putt to halve the hole and take the match.
The semi-finals saw Court defeat Chipping Norton's Pauline Walker, while Clarke saw off Frilford Heath's Carol Chapman.
