Oracle are back to the top of Oxford & District League Division 1 despite their first defeat of the season.
They saw off Thame A 2-1 in their re-arranged match, but then lost 2-1 to Fieldside.
Wins from Matthew Bramall (+100) over new-comer Toby Todd (+100) by 100-57, and from Pom Merola (+10) over Mark Boyson (+70) by 200-196 gave Oracle a 2-0 lead against Thame.
Merola's victory included a useful 29-break, but Derek Syrett (+100) gave Thame a point when he defeated Richard Connerty (+60) 150-108.
Fieldside's Paul Robinson (-30) made two timely breaks of 29 and 47, to steal the game from Oracle's Jack Woods (+90) 200-161.
Bob Chivers (-40) won his first game, making a 26 break to overtake Connerty 200-166.
Bramall bagged Oracle's point when he edged out Mike Chapman (+100) 100-84.
Thame A surprised last week's leaders HCC A with a 3-0 success, but it was a pretty close encounter.
Syrett was an easy winner over HCC's Terry Walsh (+80), coasting home 150-93.
But Paul Evans (+40) had to pull out all the stops making a 32 break to steal it from Geoff Barratt (+90) 200-198.
Mark Boyson (+70) pipped John Williams (+60) 150-141 with a 22 break.
CCC B showed good form to defeat Riley 2-1.
They lost the opening game when Allan Copelin (+90) just managed to hold on against John Simpson (+40), winning 200-195.
But Brian Mabbutt (+10) beat Ian Traill (+100) 200-167 and Ken Olive (+60) then won it by defeating David Lo (+100) 150-125. RESULTS Thame A 3, HCC A 0; Fieldside 2, Oracle 1; Morris Motors 1, Ashton 2; Eynsham 1, Thame B 2; CCC B 2, Riley 1; Oracle 2, Thame A 1; Witney v CCC A pp.
