Oxford United are confident all their fans who want to watch Saturday's attractive fourth qualifying round tie at Dagenham will be able to do so - provided they buy a ticket in advance.
After Dagenham decided to make the game at the Victoria Ground all-ticket, some 1,570 tickets were made available to U's fans.
Tickets went on general sale at United yesterday, and a steady steam of supporters kept the ticket office busy.
At the end of yesterday, there were still 500 away tickets available for the clash between the top two teams in the Nationwide Conference.
"We've sold more than 1,000, which is a very encouraging figure," said United secertary Mick Brown.
"I didn't expect us to sell all our allocation, but there will be still great support there as we hope to make a successful start to our FA Cup campaign.
"Our fans are notorious for leaving it late, but they should all be able to get tickets."
United's ticket office is open weekdays from 9am to 5.30pm. Standing tickets are priced at £12.
