Cook’s lob made it 2-1 after 65 minutes, but David Pratt, whose earlier penalty was saved by City keeper Dan Platt, made it 2-2 ten minutes from time.
James Clarke scored two, including one from the penalty spot, as Didcot Town beat Hemel Hempstead 3-2 at the Loop Meadow.
Elliott Osborne-Ricketts also scored from the spot.
Goals from Ade Talibi and Neil Stacey earned Banbury United a 2-1 win over neighbours Brackley Town.
