Witney Synchronised Swimming Club were celebrating after storming to victory in the South Eastern Regional 19 & under team combination event at the Heron pool, Haslemere, Surrey.
In their first competition since regional reorganisation, the Oxfordshire club swam with confidence and style to a Queen' medley, appropriately including We will rock you' and Don't stop me now' leaving nearest rivals Rushmoor trailing three points behind in second.
The winning routine, choreographed by swimmer Kathryn Fuller, showcased a series of amazing boosts, demanding leg sequences and intricate cadences.
Witney's Louise Fuller (16) was sixth in the 15-17 age group, while teammate Hannah Green (11) finished seventh in the 12 & under category - her first age group competition.
