BICESTER bounced back from last week's loss at Wallingford by thrashing Broadmoor Staff 48-0.
No 8 Christian Wright and flanker Darren Cassidy both crossed twice as Bicester ran in eight tries in a dominant display.
Lock Mark Malins was named man-of-the-match and his efforts in the lineout proved crucial.
Broadmoor controlled the territory and possession in the early stages, and it wasn't until midway through the first half that Bicester went ahead.
Centre Anthony Lewis fed wing James Holton for a try, which Chad Ward converted.
Full back Tom Edgar sent winger Nimilote Laqere in for try No 2 and Bicester sped away to 26-0 at the break.
Wright was driven over in a rolling maul, then Ward, who converted both tries, put flanker Anthony Nightingale over to the right of the posts.
Nightingale made two try-saving tackles before Bicester ran in a further four scores from Cassidy (2), Edgar and Wright. Ward converted the latter.
Leaders Wallingford edged out Drifters 29-22, despite turning in a below-par perfromance.
Drifters had the better of the early play, but fell behind to a penalty from skipper Olli Henderson.
Winger Nick Risk intercepted and ran in for Henderson to convert. Full back Henry Venners then linked with Risk, who squeezed over in the corner.
Centre Neil Bird crashed over after the break and Henderson converted for 22-0.
Drifters hit back with a converted try and a score out wide.
A penalty made it 22-15, but flanker Pete Holton's try and Henderson's conversion looked to have sealed victory.
Drifters' lock was driven over for a late converted score, but Wallingford held on.
Scrum half Tim Sutton kicked Gosford All Blacks to a 17-12 victory at Swindon College.
Sutton slotted penalties from 25, 35 and 45 metres and a drop-goal from the half-way line to seal the points.
With Gosford flanker Dan Hughes sin-binned, Swindon centre Luke Wills scored under the posts and Mark Lee converted.
Replacement Nathan Brooks dived over in the corner for Gosford's only try.
Swindon centre James Harman crossed after Sutton's three penalties to make it 14-12, but Hughes charged down the conversion.
Sutton's majestic drop-goal ended home hopes.
