London Welsh have signed Nick Runciman for a second spell after the scrum half spent a season with Gloucester.
Runciman, 26, made 81 appearances in three seasons for the Exiles, including scoring three tries, and helped the club twice reach the Championship semi-finals.
Runciman played in the Exiles’ 2010 semi-final defeat to Bristol at the Memorial Stadium, but missed the club’s 2011 semi-final loss at the Cornish Pirates due to injury.
He joined Gloucester in 2011, making his debut against London Welsh in the Exiles’ pre-season win at Kingsholm.
Runciman went onto make 15 appearances for the Cherry & Whites, including two in the Heineken Cup, with his one try for the club coming against Exeter Chiefs in the Aviva Premiership.
