Clanfield twice came from behind to earn a 2-2 draw at Purton in Saturday's Sport Italia Hellenic League Division 1 West basement battle.
Missing five regulars Clanfield, found themselves a goal down at the interval.
After a half-time roasting, Clanfield improved markedly in the second half, and Neil Barrett equalised in the 55th minute.
The visitors fell behind again in the 65th minute when a slip by Richard Hill enabled Purton to score.
Clanfield missed some good chances before John Andrews shot home from 12 yards to keep his side third from bottom in the table.
Easington Sports extended their unbeaten run to four games with a 4-2 victory against Wootton Bassett.
They raced into a 3-0 lead thanks to goals from 17-year-old midfielder Henry Rose, Adam Daley and Liam Garrett, who rifled the ball into the top corner of the net.

Hooky equalised in the 62nd minute. Pete Moulder slipped the ball to Lee Harris, who cut inside and fired hard and low into the far corner of the net.
Headington Amateurs came away with a 2-1 victory at Henley Town in Division 1 East trip to Henley.
After dominating a first half, in which Jay Hill and Steve Bell both hit the woodwork, Headington had to wait until the 37th minute before Matthew Phillips put them in front.
They doubled their lead four minutes into the second half, Matty Crook converting from the spot after defender Robert Parsons was fouled.
Henley replied with a goal from Dawson in the 79th minute, but the visitors comfortably held on.
