Banbury United will have to do it all again tomorrow night after they were held to a goalless draw at Taunton Town on Saturday.
Despite the scoreline, this was a highly-entertaining encounter in which either side could have won the day.
Kicking against a strong wind in the first half, Premier Division side Banbury looked dangerous early on.
Taunton who have yet to be beaten this season did very well to cope with the lively striking duo of Andy Baird and Howard Forinton, who never gave them a moment's peace.
Play then switched from end-to-end, with both sides looking to get the early break, and in the 21st minute, Taunton almost broke the deadlock.
From a right-wing corner, Ronnie Mowatt rose unchallenged, only to see his header come back off the bar.
Ten minutes later it was Banbury's turn to curse the woodwork when an Ady Fuller free-kick was headed across the goal by Wayne Blossom to Stuart Bridges who hit a difficult shot which beat Ian Jones, only to rebound off the post, before being cleared.
The second-half followed the same pattern as the first, with both sides again looking for the breakthrough.
In the 54th minute, Banbury had the best chance of the game.
Bridges found Jon Gardner completely unmarked by the penalty spot, but the former Thame United striker scuffed his shot well wide, when it looked far easier to score.
