Kevin Baker hit a double sixer as he clanged off 15 dolls (6-6-3) in Cricketers B’s 2-1 success against Red Lion A Eynsham in the Premier Section.

Cricketers won the first two legs 32-24, 34-32, with Red Lion grabbing a point in the final leg 30-28.

Barry Townsend (5-5-4) and Philip Adams (3-5-6) chipped in with 14 dolls each for Cricketers.

Paul Holt bagged a six in his 16-doll haul (5-5-6) for Red Lion B Kidlington in their 3-0 win over Gladiators A. Lion triumphed 27-21, 26-14, 28-23.

The Woodman battled to a 2-1 win against Six Bells in a Section 2 marathon. Woodman took the opener 20-18, before taking the win after a three-stick and one stick shoot-out failed to separate the teams.

Six Bells grabbed a point on three sticks 10-9, after the last leg was tied 20-20.

Jonny McMahon clanged off a dozen dolls (4-5-3) to steer Section 3 leaders Bullnose Morris A to a 3-0 home success against Three Horseshoes in leg scores of 24-14, 20-17, 17-11.

Section 5 leaders North Oxford Conservative Club A survived a scare in a 2-1 win against basement boys Chequers B.

After a scraping home 18-17 in the first leg, Chequers took the next leg 21-20, before Con Club won the decider 21-14.

Lee Anderson was the hero for Red Lion A Kidlington against Gladiators B in Section 6. With the game poised at 1-1, Gladiators set 18 in the final leg. Red Lion’s reply left anchor man Anderson six to win and he did not disappoint as he clanged off all six to take the win.

Red Lion Islip edged out Nut Tree 2-1 at the top of Section 7.

They both scored 42 dolls with Red Lion taking a early lead, winning the first leg on three sticks after it was tied 14-14.

Tree levelled in the next 15-13, but Lion took the final leg 15-13.

In Section 9, Matthew Arnold whipped off 14 dolls, including a six (4-4-6) for leaders The Crown Chalgrove in their 3-0 win at The Crown B Otmoor.

After taking the opening leg 17-14 the leaders made sure of maximum points in the next two legs 21-9, 17-12. Rob Bustin threw well for The Crown Otmoor with a dozen dolls (5-4-6). In Section 10, Richard Berry bagged a six in his ten-doll haul in their 3-0 home win over Bullnose B in the 22-15, 16-13, 15-12 scoreline.

l The Chandos Arms has not shut as stated last week. The B team has moved to The Pheasant Inn, Brill, but the A team still play at The Chandos.
