Francesca Claydon, from the Flying Solo Club, shone in the British Trampoline Championships at the Birmingham NIA.
The 18-year-old, from Wantage, who has had an excellent competitive season on the national circuit, finished sixth in the Over 19 National C Ladies group.
Claydon jumped superbly on the qualifying day, and a score of 52.70 gave her fifth to earn a place in the top eight finals for day two.
On finals day, Claydon produced her slickest routine of the championships and was rewarded with a personal best score of 29.30.
This total, combined with the previous day’s result, gave her a final score of 82.00 and a sixth place overall against tough opposition.
Carleen Betteridge, head coach and director of the Flying Solo Club, which has training venues in Wantage and Oxford, said: “I’m thrilled with Francesca’s performance.
“I’m delighted she achieved a much-deserved result after training so hard.”
