Matt Maudsley is urging Oxford Harlequins to get back on track when they visit Basingstoke in South West 1 tomorrow.
Quins' director of rugby saw his side avoid defeat in a tough opening month, but they have since slipped up twice.
Maudsley said: "We were really pleased with our first four results, but we had to make so many changes after that, which didn't help.
"We had a fantastic start against Maidenhead last week, but our heads went down after one or two mistakes.
"Hopefully we can return to form at Basingstoke.
"We still need more strength in depth up front, but we've just got to make the best of our resources."
Quins welcome back centre Jake White and hooker Dave Needham, both after hamstring injuries, while Andy Henley should return next week.
South African hooker JP Immelman is back for Chinnor's home clash with Old Patesians in National 3 South.
Immelman, who injured his groin in Chinnor's first game this season, comes in for John Phipps.
There is also a debut for Martin Mahoney on the left wing after some excellent displays in the seconds.
The continued absence of Paul Hennessy sees Johan De Bruin start at No 8 with Adam Beets and Ed Rixon completing the back row.
Cheltenham-based Old Pats defeated Clifton 54-26 last week, so will arrive full of confidence.
Head coach John Brodley said: "We are finding it very difficult to cover up for our mistakes.
"I've reviewed the tapes from all our games and 70 per cent of all scores against us have come from our errors."
