Aston Rowant held on for a draw in their Serious Cricket Home Counties Premier League Division 2 West clash against Gerrards Cross.
Thad Cooper and Chris Leaney, Rowant’s last pair, managed to block out the final 15 minutes to avoid defeat.
Rowant had produced a good display to restrict their opponents to 100-7, Gordon Harris the pick of the bowlers with 3-14.
However, former Gloucestershire player Vikram Banerjee then hit a half-century as Gerrards Cross set a target of 210-9.
Rowant lost wickets at regular intervals in reply – opener Chris Watling top-scoring with 32 – and it was left to Cooper and Leaney to save the day.
