Frustration was the word of the day for Shipton-under-Wychwood in their draw with Slough in Serious Cricket Home Counties Premier League Division 2 West.
The Oxfordshire side, who were bowled out for 193, took the ninth Slough wicket with eight overs remaining.
But they could not dismiss the last pair and were forced to settle for a share of the spoils.
Captain Simon Hole was again the main man with the bat, top-scoring with 66.
Shaun Miller took the first two Slough wickets to fall, before Charlie Brain claimed four victims as the hosts fell to 122-9.
However, Shazad Rana and Ali Akbar shut up shop, and despite nearly all the Shipton fielders crowding around the bat, they survived.
