Aston Rowant will again be without Nick Ferraby when they visit fellow mid-table side Harefield in Division 2 West of the Serious Cricket Home Counties Premier League tomorrow.

The talented all-rounder is on the staff at Magdalen College School, and is required to work.

The former Oxford player a has already missed a number of matches this season.

“We won’t have Nick for two more weeks after this,” said skipper Wes Morick.

“ But from then on, he can play till the end of the season.”

Morrick is forced to make three changes from the side that thrashed Shipton-under-Wychwood by ten wickets last week.

Andrew Tolson and Richard Cook are also unavailable.

Chris Eaton, Ben Mills and one other come into the side.

Shipton, for whom this was a first defeat of the season, will be aiming to bounce back as they entertain Thame Town.

Simon Hole, whose batting was badly missed last week, returns, while Craig Wood comes into the side.

They replace Steve Bates and Joe Barrett.

Thame welcome back opening bowler Will Rooney, who comes into the side at the expense of Chris Jeffcock.

Captain Michael Higgs is hoping his side can turn good draws into wins.

“We have got four games until the halfway point, so we’re looking to win at least two of those,” he said.

“However, looking at the forecast, I don’t hold out much hope of getting any result this week.”
