Chipping Norton made home advantage count when they swept to a 3-0 victory over Tadmarton Heath in the first round of the Shaw Gibbs Oxfordshire Foursomes League KO Trophy on Saturday.
However, two of the matches went to the final green with Chippy’s pairings of Stu Allen and Chris Heslip, and Tim Reynolds & Will Preece winning by two holes and one hole respectively.
In the top match, Matt Johnson and George Kaye comfortably saw off Owen King and Les Robinson 4 & 3.
Shrivenham Park went down 3-0 away to Feldon Valley in Section 3.
