Left-arm spinner Steve Hart claimed 7-62 while his former Banbury Twenty teammate Michael Thomas took 3-51 as Banbury 3rd beat Kingston Bagpuize.

Kingston were all out for 158, of which Matthew Warner scored 33. Earlier Banbury had managed 189-8 thanks to Thomas (43), Will Briggs (34) and Charlie Hill (32), while Alex Kidd took 4-24.

Pete Claridge hit 42 as Witney Mills crawled to 140-9 from their 53 overs at Bicester & North Oxford.

Richard Simpson took 3-44, and then watched James Rimmer make 66 not out and Dan Murphy 36 in Bicester’s 141-3.

Shipton 2nd’s Craig Wood took 4-55 and Chris Panter 3-24 as Chearsley were bowled out off the final ball of their last over for 154.

Paul Atkins was 53 not out when he ran out of time and partners.

Ken Baker then took 3-49, but was powerless to stop David Bugge (49), Wood (45) and Shane Duff (33no) from steering Shipton to 155-5.

Ben Keeping bagged 7-56 and Ed Somerton stroked exactly 50 in Cropredy’s 161-9 at home to Bledlow Ridge.

Russ Turner (49), Conor Taylor (36) and Martin Middleton (35) kept Ridge in the hunt, but the runs came too slowly and they had to settle for a draw on 151-4.

Adam Mould (3-21), James Shirley (3-30) and Matthew Pearce (3-52) bowled Bledlow Village into a winning position at Dinton 2nd, who were dismissed for 145.

Dave Saunders hit 43 and Neil Roberts 30 for the hosts, and their runs were to prove crucial as Bledlow were blown away for 134 by Tim Brooker (4-32).
