Geoff Barrett (+90) was in great form for HCC A, making breaks of 22 and 29 to outlast Gavin Wright (-18) 200-114.
Terry Walsh (+80) made it 2-0 by beating Chris Warren (+70) 150-137.
Witney captain Terry Cook (+20) saved his side from a whitewash by defeating John Williams (+60) 200-155 with an unfinished break of 22.
Eynsham went to Ashton and won 2-1 despite, losing the opening game when Peter Fenn (+60) pipped Mick McCluskey (+90) 150-137.
Roy Gascoyne (+110) levelled the match by defeating the previously unbeaten Keith Maskens (+60) 150-104, Newcomer Lawrence Parsons (+100) won the match for Eynsham when he held off Terry Chambers (-10) to take the decider 200-166.
Riley recorded their first win when beating Thame B 2-1.
David Lo (+100) made a 24 break to squeeze past Tom Fletcher (+80) 150-142 before Allan Copelin (+90) made it 2-0 by overcoming Peter Hawkes (+125) by 150-132.
Nigel Bossom (+60) earned Thame B a point when he stormed past Gary Bough (+70) 150-101.
Morris Motors ended CCC A's winning streak by beating them 2-1 at Cowley Conservative Club.
Dick Hashman (-20) won the opening game for CCC A when he compiled breaks of 21, 29 and 53 to overcome Doug Baker (+70) 200-174.
But it was all Morris Motors after that as Roger Tomlin (+70) crushed Arthure Cookley(+90) 150-91 and Bob Hayward (+70) won a marathon encounter against Keith Pearce (+60) 150-122, in a match lasting 90 minutes.
