City of Oxford were on top early on in their Trysports 3 Counties Ladies League Premier 1 clash at Maidenhead 2nd, but failed to capitalise on chances and went down 1-0.

Rebecca Ridgeway was on target as Oxford Hawks 2nd drew 1-1 at Amersham & Chalfont 2nd in Premier 2.

Two goals from Suzie Harrison and one from Mel Baker helped City of Oxford 2nd beat Phoenix & Ranelagh 3-0, also in Premier 2.

In Division 1, West Witney 2nd crashed 8-0 at Slough 2nd.

A number of the Slough squad are ex-England players and they were too good for Witney.

West Witney 3rd beat top-of-the-table Newbury & Thatcham 3rd 2-1 in Division 3 to claim their first league win of the season.

Oxon's under 18 girls came away from the second round of the Southern Counties Championships in Horsham with maximum points.

They beat Berkshire 2-0 with Natasha Nunneley and Tacita Haynes converting two short corners.
