Hook Norton scored twice in the dying minutes to snatch a 3-2 victory from the jaws of defeat against bottom club Ross Town.
Trailing 2-1 with three minutes left, Hooky equalised when Pete Moulder headed home a right-wing cross from captain Robbie Canaway.
And, in the last minute, substitute Gareth Source crossed from the right for top-scorer Richard Northover to fire home at the far post and give the hosts a dramatic victory.
Player-manager Ben Spiero had put Hooky into the lead in the fourth minute from Northover's right-wing cross.
A misunderstanding between Canaway and Johnson then led to substitute Ian Phillips nipping in on an intended back pass to put Ross ahead in the 72nd minute.
But Hooky's late show rescued the day.
Lowly Clanfield crashed to a 3-0 defeat against high-flying Lydney.
The visitors went ahead on the hour when Matt Timmins finished clinically after the home defence had failed to allow a free-kick.
Lydney increased their lead in the 82nd minute when Ricky Elliot converted a free-kick harshly awarded on the edge of the box.
And Clanfield's misery was complete in the 89th minute when Elliot knocked home his second from close range.
