Oxford Gresham Academy secured the inaugural Southern Area Junior League title, despite going down 21-15 in their final match at Rye House on Saturday.
With both teams finishing on 21 points, it came down to race points difference, with Oxford finishing on +99 compared to Rye House's +78.
The Academy went into the match missing Sam Martin, who is in the Czech Republic, and Andrew Bargh, who was riding in the Lincolnshire Trophy at King's Lynn.
Lewis Blackbird and Dan Blake were due to cover for their absence, but with Blackbird forced out of the match after crashing at Coventry the night before, Oxford went into the meeting with three riders.
The Gresham Academy riders, plus team manager Bryn Williams, were presented with medals by the Oxford Speedway Supporters' Club.
OXFORD Cheetahs' Lubos Tomicek finished runner-up in the Golden Ribbon at Pardubice in the Czech Republic on Saturday.
The Cheetahs youngster had to give best to Christian Hefenbrock in the final.
