HANNAH Kitchen won gold in the women’s 20-24 event at the European Championships in Eilat, Israel.
The Oxford Tri athlete completed the course in 1hr 17mins 40secs to claim victory.
Teammate Alison Vessey came second in the 55-59 category, while Richard Dunbabin was the first Brit home when he came fifth in the men’s 55-59 event.
Other Oxford Tri athletes to take part were Emma McDermott, who was fifth in the 35-39 category, Trudi O’Mahoney, eighth in the 25-29 event, and Jonathan Gale, 11th in the 30-34 category.
