Oxford's Jason Plato won the final race of the day to lead the drivers’ standings after the opening round of the British Touring Car Championship at Brands Hatch.
Plato gave MG a winning return to the series as he chased down Andrew Jordan to snatch the 69th win of his career.
Robert Collard and Matt Neal shared the wins in the first two races.
Plato’s day had begun badly when he tangled with Dave Newsham in the opening race to allow Collard to nip past, and had to be content with fourth.
He followed that up with third place in race two.
