Didcot Town’s recent revival in Evo-Stik Southern League Division 1 South & West was halted in a home defeat by Tiverton Town.
Hesitant Didcot defending saw Jules Emati-Emati nod the ball to an unmarked Michael Nardiello to head in.
The home side’s Danilson Vincente was put clear by Jamie Heapy, but had his shot blocked by Kevin Hill, before Anaclet Odhiambo broke clear, but blazed over.
At the other end, a block on the goal-line by Sam Elkins denied Josh Searle.
On the stroke of half-time, Tiverton doubled their lead when the unmarked Emati-Emati fired past Jon Beames in the Didcot goal.
Emati-Emati almost added a third for Tiverton, Jon Beames denying him.
Didcot’s 16 year-old sub Ollie Thomas almost got a goal back late on, but Chris Wright kept out his shot.
