Glamorgan include the old and the new for their three-day match Oxford MCC Universities, which starts in The Park today (11am).
Former England spinner Robert Croft (pictured), now 41, is in Glamorgan’s strong squad of 13 for one of the first ever first-class matches to take place in England during March.
Also in the squad is Australian Moises Henriques, who is set to make his debut for the Welsh county.
Oxford MCCU head coach Graham Charlesworth has handed first-class debuts to batsman-keeper Freddie John, all rounder Charlie Morris and opening bowler Jamie Thompson.
Seamer Charlie Ellison has been named 12th man after failing a fitness test yesterday on his hamstring injury.
Glamorgan have won 12 out of their 31 previous matches in The Parks, the last of which, in 2009, was drawn.
The contest, one of only two first-class games in The Parks this season, is free to attend to for the public.
