CHIPPING Norton racer Fergus Walkinshaw is ready for his first full season of competition in three years as the opening rounds of the Michelin Ginetta GT Supercup take place at Brands Hatch this weekend.
Walkinshaw, who turns 21 on April 6, will make his Indy circuit debut driving his self-built Ginetta G55.
The Oxford Brookes University student showed his potential last year with two fifth-place finishes, despite only joining the series at the halfway point.
“First-time testing has gone really well,” said Walkinshaw. “I don’t think I’ve ever felt more motivated. I’ll be heading into every round with the intention of taking solid points.”
