EXTRA tickets have been made available to Oxford United for the Good Friday trip to Northampton Town following strong demand.
More than 1,000 seats were snapped up by U’s season ticket holders in less than three days.
The stand behind the goal at Sixfields has been sold out, but an extra allocation of 256 tickets has been made available.
It would take United’s travelling contingent to more than 1,600, all hoping to cheer Chris Wilder’s men to victory over a Northampton side not yet safe from relegation.
It is the latest impressive show of support for the U’s, with more than 1,500 travelling to Cheltenham Town last weekend and 214 making the long trip north to Accrington Stanley on Tuesday night.
