Bow To No One gave Alan Jarvis, who trains at Twyford, near Bicester, his second jumps winner in the space of five days with an easy victory at Warwick yesterday.
Jarvis, best known as a Flat trainer, sent out Right Step to make a winning debut over timber at Kempton on Saturday.
And he struck again when Bow To No One stormed home by ten lengths under Barry Keniry in a mares’ handicap hurdle.
Jarvis’s son, Tim, representing his father, said: “She’s my dad’s favourite horse, so he’ll be sorry he wasn’t here.”
Mark Rimell, who trains at Leafield, near Witney, was also on the mark when Ours came out on top in a match in the two-mile handicap chase under Nick Scholfield.
GENTLEMAN Anshan, owned and trained by Rosemary Gasson at Shutford, near Banbury, landed Hereford’s two mile and five furlongs handicap chase for the second year running under Hannah Watson.
