North Leigh’s hopes of making the Evo-Stik Southern League Division 1 South & West play-offs were dented by local rivals Didcot Town, who held them to a 3-3 draw on Tuesday night.
Elliott Osborne-Ricketts put the home side ahead, but two Anaclet Odhiambo goals in as many minutes made it 2-1 to Didcot.
Brian Bowles levelled the scores and Osborne-Ricketts struck his second to give North Leigh a 3-2 half-time advantage.
Didcot’s Steve Davis cracked home the best goal of the game for 3-3 on 48 minutes, but neither side could find a winner.
Banbury United’s Premier Division relegation worries increased with a 3-1 defeat at Leamington.
Liam Daly and Jacob Blyth put the home side 2-0 up, before a Ricky Johnson penalty gave Banbury hope at half-time, only for Blyth to add a third in the last minute.
