WALLINGFORD’S under 13 and 14 squads completed a grand slam in the Oxfordshire ten-a-side tournament at Banbury.
They won the A and B titles at each age group, beating Banbury in three of the finals.
Ian Graney, Wallingford’s chair of youth rugby, said: “This is a great day for Wallingford Rugby Club, winning all four trophies has not been done by any club in the county to date.”
Banbury will have a chance for revenge as they meet Wallingford in the under 13 and 14 Oxfordshire Cup finals at Witney on March 25.
Tries from captain Jake Anderson (2) and Aaron Taylor, plus Alexander Bruce’s conversion, saw Banbury Under 14s defeat Chinnor 17-5 in their semi.
