STEVE Chadbone said there had been some tense moments on the touchline as Oxford Harlequins edged home against Old Redcliffians.
Quins’ manager said: “We don’t like to make it easy for ourselves.
“It was quite an entertaining game for the neutral, but I don’t think I have got any nails left.
“When Sione scored at the end, we knew we had won it, but it was really nailbiting.”
Chadbone added: “We didn’t seem to come out of the blocks at all.
“But the grit and determination we showed was key.
“The front five started slowly, but by the end we dominated the scrum.
“Martin Nutt played particularly well as did Matt Smith.
“They made the most of the ball they did get and we took our chances better than they did.”
