Didcot Barramundi’s Alex Murphy (16) is hoping the experience of competing in the 2012 Olympic trials this week will stand him in good stead.
Murphy was in the 100m breaststroke, where he recorded a time of 1min 5.1secs.
“It was a great competition and fantastic to compete against both the best in our country and swimmers from other nations,” he said.
