DAN Rivers produced a devastating display to win his maiden senior competition at the first attempt.
The 20-year-old saw off his more experienced rivals to land the British Open Championship at the Bisley National Shooting Centre.
Rivers, who is a member of the Wantage Target Shooting Club, took the lead early on and never looked back.
He led by seven points at the half-way stage, and after the field was reduced to eight competitiors for the final stage, his class told.
Despite a slow start, Rivers found his range and a flurry of superb shots saw him stretch his lead to ten points and seal the title.
