Welterweight Joe Fisher collected the first of two wins for the Berinsfield gym on their travels during the week when he outpointed Dean Botean at Hanwell.
But the 23 year-old southpaw had to rally after his rival – from the host gym – just had the edge in the opening session.
Fisher upped his rate after the interval and his more precise straight punches in the last two rounds secured a polished victory.
National schoolgirl champion Niamh McGuckin continued the winning habit in Stoke-on-Trent with her second successive win over Abbie Bates – another finalist in this year’s competition.
The variety in her punching – clusters to head and body throughout all three rounds – repeatedly mesmerised her opponent as she cruised to a comfortable victory.
Berinsfield stage their next dinner show at the Rover Club on Roman Way, Cowley on Saturday, April 14. Tickets, priced at £40, are available by calling 07860 156950 or 01865 341348.
