BURY Knowle A jumped up four places to second in the Premier Division with a 4-2 win at home to Riley B.

With the score at 2-2, Bury Knowle's victory was secured by Andy MacBryan, who beat Malcolm Bough 65-32, 69-31.

Division 1 leaders Riley C lost their 100 per cent record following a draw with Woodstock A.

Altaf Ali raised the division's highest break to 56 during his 78-2, 50-39 win against Stuart Reeve.

Justin Page earned Woodstock's first point with a 64-27 win over Ed Downey in frame three, but Downey responded to win the next 56-48.

In the remaining two frames, Priyan Shah got the better of Simon Surrage 56-29, 66-38 to leave honours even.

Abingdon Con B lead a closely-packed Division 2, despite having to settle for a draw with Riley D.

Abingdon went 3-1 up thanks to Lin Dick, who recorded a 58-36, 72-27 win against Andy Toole.

Riley's Wayne Reddy won the final two frames 65-35, 56-39.

Abingdon Con A picked up their first win, beating derby rivals Oracle A.

The decisive final two frames saw John Dawson get the better of Jamie Saczak 62-50, 49-35.

County B travelled to Eynsham A and came away with a 4-2 win.

The opening frame saw County's Kevin Hicks overcome Richard Partlett 68-53.

Partlett then replied 46-26 to keep up his record of not having lost both frames in a match for more than two seasons.

Nick Anderson put County in command when he beat Kevin Truby 56-31, 50-4.

Lawrence Parsons took the fifth frame 58-9 to pull a frame back for Eynsham, but his opponent, Nigel Wilkins, held on to win a close last frame 49-37.

Cowley Con A recorded their third win in Division 3, this time by 4-2 against House Club B.

Their matchwinner was Keith Pearce who beat Mike Auger 53-29, 54-32.

Thame B gained their first success of the campaign with a 5-1 win gainst bottom-placed Cowley Con B.

Mark Bayliss put Cowley ahead in a tight first frame against Dave White, who levelled, courtesy of a clearance of 25.

From then on, Thame took control. Derek Syrett got the better of Jim Smart jnr 51-31, 60-47, while Nigel Bossom disposed of Chick Wheatley 59-21, 41-24.

Eynsham B picked up a 4-2 win against Cowley Con C to lead Division 4.

Adam Hingley got Eynsham of to a good start when he beat wiley octogenarian Ken Olive 48-37, 60-16.

Tim Bowles took the third frame 71-59 to make it 3-0 before Neil Kirby edged the fourth frame 45-34.

Brian Mabbutt further reduced the arrears by winning the fifth frame 56-40, but was then overpowered 68-8 in the last by Daniel Brooks, who also set a new highest break of 31.

Morris Motors C maintained their 100 per cent record with a 4-2 win against Cherwell B in a contest that saw five of the six frames decided on the black!

With the scores level, Bob Hayward pipped Mark Clifford 45-43, 52-46 in the last two frames to secure the victory.

Cowley Workers A won 4-2 win at Ashton B, with Lee McAllister beating Mark Woodward 45-29, 58-18 in the last two frames.
