MOTIVATING Oxford United’s players to produce another top display at the end of a tough week will be no problem at Bradford City this weekend, according to manager Chris Wilder.
The U’s took four points from tough games at home to Swindon Town and away at Shrewsbury Town in the space of three days.
But Wilder, who spent a season with the Bantams during his playing career, knows the U’s will need no encouragement to perform at Valley Parade.
Comfortably the best ground in npower League Two, City’s average gate is more than 10,000.
Wilder said: “Bradford’s a good game because I think it takes care of itself.
“No disrespect but (it might be different) if we were going to somewhere with no atmosphere and isn’t a good place to play football, but Bradford’s a fantastic place.”
Despite the attendances Bradford go into the game just five points clear of the relegation places.
Wilder said: “I just think it shows the toughness that the big clubs have in terms of the pressure they play under.”
