Bicester are virtually assured of promotion from Trysports women's Premier 2 after seeing off Phoenix & Ranelagh 2-0 to go 15 points clear of third-placed Reading.

Kath Crook smashed home a shot to make it 1-0 at the break and Ella Weston’s second-half penalty flick wrapped it up.

Goals from Sophie Shilston and Catherine Reaney earned Oxford a welcome 2-1 win over Henley in South Clubs League Division 2.

The home side led after after 15 minutes, but good work from Caro Harris, Becky Hibbert and Hayley Sawyer gave Shilston the chance to make it 1-1.

Five minutes later, Catherine Reaney put Oxford in front, and some good saves from Phil Swindell in the second half ensured all three points.

Witney were in action twice last week in Division 3A.

They held leaders Marlow to a 4-4 draw on Saturday, with Joy Mangazi scoring a hat-trick, before going down 2-1 at home to Wallingford.

Gaby Evans scored their goal.

A Sherene Butler hat-trick saw Kidlington to a 4-1 triumph over Milton Keynes 3rd in Division 2.

She ran the length of the pitch to put her side ahead and added two more via a penalty flick and a short corner for a 3-1 half-time lead. Ellie Desmond completed Kidlington’s scoring.
