Oxford University captain Kevin Brennan says tomorrow's trip to Bath University will signal a change of tempo in their Varsity Match build-up.
The scrum half has named as strong a squad as he has available for the clash and this will be the pattern from now on.
Brennan said: "We are certainly going to Bath this weekend with a squad of just Blues members.
"Whether it will be the first team line-up is debatable, but we'll just be using players who are in the Blues squad from now on.
"We have the Greyhounds for the less experienced players and those who need game time."
Aussie star Joe Roff started at fly half in Oxford's 39-16 loss at Newbury on Tuesday night, but should play at centre tomorrow.
Brennan said: "We'll be assessing his position on a game by game basis."
He added: "I think the guys that have been back for four weeks played well at Newbury and those who were playing their first game looked like it.
"We tried to balance the team so it had a good mix up experience and youngsters.
"Once we took the experienced guys off, Newbury took control."
