Henley Hawks showed great discipline to win 23-13 at Nuneaton in National 2.
Despite their hosts having 60 per cent of the game, Henley conceded just three kickable penalties.
Fly half Gareth Cull's third-minute penalty put Nuneaton and he added a second before half-time.
But he was soon the villain as his clearance was charged down for Hawks' skipper Liam Wordley to swoop and touch down, Mitch Burton converting.
Burton's boot gave Henley plenty of territory and eventually Nuneaton gave away a penalty 40 metres out, which he slotted.
Immediately afterwards, Nuns' No. 8 Alex Shaw was despatched to the sin-bin for killing the ball.
Burton's drop goal was all Henley could achieve with their man advantage, so they led 13-6 at the break.
Burton's second penalty gave Henley some respite and finally they notched try No 2 after 70 minutes.
Centre Luke Burns found Chaska Loubser on his shoulder, who powered over between the posts and Burton converted.
Nuneaton replacement prop Dan James scored a late converted try.
