Chinnor suffered their third defeat in five matches with a 27-22 reverse at high-flying North Walsham.
John Brodley's men had the consolation of a bonus point after losing by less than seven, but they are now third from bottom.
Fly half Richard Williams had another impressive scoring game with a try, two conversions and a penalty.
But North Walsham hit back with four tries of their own from full back Andy Thorpe, wing Tom Holt, centre Will Hughes and flanker Juan Pablo Pistone.
Fly half Craig May slotted two conversions and a penalty to complete the hosts' tally.
Aussie centre Anthony Pyers and South African flanker Johan de Bruin also crossed for Chinnor.
Chinnor's only win this season was a last gasp 16-15 success over Clifton in their first game.
They will need another victory soon if they are not to press the panic button.
But with Westcombe Park at home on Saturday and Havant away in a fortnight's time, a second win won't come easily.
