Didcot Town were happier with a point after holding play-off chasers Cinderford in a goalless Evo-Stik Southern League Division 1 South & West game at Loop Meadow.
The hosts had by far the better of it before the break with Simieon Howell and Anaclet Odhiambo both going close Cinderford had the ball in the net, but Kris Miller’s effort was belatedly ruled out for offside, much to their annoyance.
The visitors dominated the second half and should have won the game when Nic McCootie was put one-on-one with Didcot keeper Jon Beames, only to fire well wide.
Didcot Tn: Beames, Heapy, Halliday, Henderson, Peirson, Stanley, Elkins, Howell, Robinson, Odhiambo, Davis (Faulkner 55). Subs not used: Mudge, Jaward.
