Abingdon United conceded a sloppy goal in the dying seconds to deny them victory against fellow Evo-Stik Southern League Division 1 South & West strugglers Taunton.
The hosts were by that stage down to ten men in a game in which most of the action was packed into the second half.
It swung in Abingdon’s favour on the hour as Curtis Angell tangled with Taunton’s Jamie Short and gave him a little tug. They both rolled over , and as Short got up, he kicked Angell in the face and was immediately shown the red card.
With 18 minutes to go a throw in to the area, and Abingdon’s Ricky Allaway went down, and although there seemed to be no appeals, the referee pointed to the spot.
Collier took the penalty and smashed it down the middle as the keeper went to his left to put ther visitors ahead.
Ten-man Town brought on substitute Craig Veal and his pace started to cause problems.
With seconds left Veal pulled the ball back and Simon Ingram hit it first time.
Keeper James Foster blocked the ball, but it cannoned back to Ingram, who eventually putit over the line at the third attempt.
