An injury-time penalty from Lee Keyes saw Witney United come from behind to edge AFC Wallingford in the Premier Division of the Sport Italia Hellenic League on Saturday.
Wallingford keeper John Shea performed heroics, twice denying Danny Wise in the first ten minutes, and then Stuart Douglas, as Witney dominated.
However, they were left stunned when Wallingford took the lead, Simon Barlow heading in a Ross Tyler cross.
Douglas was then denied the equaliser when he was flagged off-side.
Six minutes before the break, Witney levelled when Jamie Cook's headed home Matty Shelton's cross.
In the second half, after Douglas hit the bar, before Shea again kept out Wise.
Witney keeper Paul Tassell denied Tom Ingram, with John McMahon going close at the other end.
With five minute of injury time gone, a draw looked on the cards until Keyes snatched the late winner from the spot after Shea brought down Mark Odom.
North Leigh chairman Pete King marched onto the pitch to blast match officials after his side were denied second spot in a controversial 2-2 draw at Highworth on Saturday.
Chris Allen had fired North Leigh in front, only for Highworth to level through Wayne Cleverly's penalty.
North Leigh skipper Joe Burnell thought he had restored the lead, only for his 30-yard strike to be adjudged offside.
In the second half, Allen scored his second after Highworth keeper Luke Alford made a double save from Simon Futcher and Karl Dodds.
Former North Leigh player Justin Miller levelled against his old pals on 78 minutes.
North Leigh substitute Mark Dennis looked to have won it when he fired home a 25-yard effort in stoppage time, only for the referee to disallow the goal and instead give a free-kick.
That incensed King, who walked onto the field to voice his frustration, after the final whistle.
Adam Giles hit a hat-trick as Wantage Town got back to winning ways with a 6-2 win at Thame .
But they did it the hard way, coming from behind after Patrick Johnston gave Thame a fourth-minute lead.
Wantage had a great chance to level from the penalty spot on 24 minutes, but Wayne Harbert's effort rebounded off the crossbar.
Paul Day made it all-square, before Adam Giles bagged his first for Wantage.
After the break, Giles got his second and although Thame clawed one back through Nathan Jack, substitute Tom Rowe made it 4-2.
Giles completed his treble and substitute Tom Austin wrapped it all up.
Milton United kept up their excellent form with a hard-fought 2-1 victory at home to Carterton.
Early on, they were rattled when the visitors took the lead through Steve Avenall after Milton's keeper Gareth Walker failed to hold Mark Threlfall's shot.
Milton levelled on 17 minutes when the ball dropped to Darren Howell after keeper Steve Benbow had brilliantly kept out Vinny Rusher's effort.
Despite their dominance, Milton had to wait until the 68th minute for the winner, Howell side-footing his second from Rusher's cross.
Abingdon Town recorded their first clean sheet of the season in a hard-fought goalless draw away to Bicester Town. Paul Jezzard twice went close for Abingdon, before Adam Doyle headed wide for Bicester.
Just before the break, Abingdon had a lucky escape when Matty Travers's lob hit the bar, while Sam Houlihan also went close.
In the second half, a brilliant save from Abingdon keeper Rob Hambling denied Jody McKay, before Jezzard had an effort ruled out for off-side.
Ian Smith cleared off the line as Abingdon held on.
Shotshy Kidlington created only one decent chance as they lost 2-0 at home to new leaders Almondsbury.
Trailing 2-0 at the break to a controversial penalty and a Marcus Mapstone strike, Kidlington improved in the second half with substitute Keiren Davis fizzing a shot wide, with the keeper beaten.
