Oxford United defender Tony Capaldi faces a second spell on the sidelines after suffering a ruptured cartilage.
The 30-year-old left-back, who has yet to play a game for Oxford since signing from Morecambe in the summer, suffered the knee injury in a tackle during the behind-closed-doors friendly against Bristol City on Wednesday.
It leaves him needing an operation, which will rule him out for up to two months.
