MORE than 200 bangers will be in action at Standlake Arena tomorrow when the venue hosts its Heavy Metal Classic.
Standlake’s biggest meeting of the year starts at 12noon, with gates opening at 8.30am.
Promoter Keith Hook said: “HMC is the only all banger meeting run at Standlake Arena and once again the response from racers has been staggering.
“228 race cars are currently booked in for the meeting, with a large reserve list of racers who can't get a booking.
“Racers are attracted from all over the UK, with top travellers from Holland and Ireland competing this year.”
