OXFORD United boss Chris Wilder may send midfielder Adam Chapman out on loan to get match-fit, writes MARK EDWARDS.
The midfielder is recovering from a broken foot, and although he made a surprise appearance as a substitute at Morecambe at the start of December, needs more games.
Chapman came through 90 minutes of a behind-closed-doors friendly against Bristol City, but is still not ready to play a full, competitive match.
“The Adam Chapman situation is a hard one,” Wilder said. “Maybe he needs to go out and get some games because of not playing any football over the last 16 months.”
